With the end of year approaching, it is time to look back: The e-commerce recap of November 2025 shows all the statistics on global online revenue development, country and category growth, as well as top shipping, payment and shop software providers.
China leads in growth, posting a +13.8% rate since November 2024. An important factor was this year's nation-wide Singles' Day shopping event, which extended for nearly a month.
The United States follows, with +11.5% growth since last November. Major shopping events like the Cyber Week, which includes Black Friday, contributed to the strong performance.
In contrast, South Korea is trailing with only +1.0% growth. This hints at different consumer patterns, where neither extensive holiday shopping nor Singles' Day or Cyber Week are driving growth in a grand manner.
The top-performing product categories globally are:
Key players in shipping and payment are DHL (with 23.8% of online stores offering it as shipment provider), UPS (16.4%) and dpd (13.9%). In payment, VISA and Mastercard are both offered most (at around 80.0%), followed by PayPal (52.2%).
Shopify is used most as shop software (14.5%), followed by Magento (9.2%) and Woo Commerce (6.1%).
Transaction KPIs this month encompass a 2.7% conversion rate, global AOV of US$148.8 across categories, and a 13.1% return rate.
